Launching
Digital GOLD

THE BRIEF
Mint Money wanted to introduce digital gold as a new investment experience—bringing the trust of physical gold into a modern, intuitive digital journey for both first-time investors and regular savers.
I explored four visual directions, each balancing trust, premium appeal, simplicity, and modernity, to find the right visual language for the product and its users.
Flow For MVP
Buy Gold
Lumpsum + Gold SIP
Manage Gold
Manage SIP + Sell Gold
Track Gold
Transactions + Portfolio

Approach 1
Warm Daylight
Visual distinctiveness
Medium - warm, friendly, but close to generic fintech
Trust & credibility built
High - comparison table, banner, and copy do real persuasive work
Education for first-timers
High - comparison table, banner, and copy do real persuasive work
Conversion speed / friction
Low - long scroll before any CTA
Business positioning
Mainstream, habit-forming (round-ups, small daily SIPs)

Approach 2
Momentum Blue
Visual distinctiveness
Low — leans on existing brand blue, least "gold" identity
Trust & credibility built
Low — no trust copy, relies on stats and social proof alone
Education for first-timers
Low — assumes the visitor already understands the category
Conversion speed / friction
High — CTA is immediate, single screen
Business positioning
Growth/performance-marketing, existing-brand-led

Verdict
We went with Warm Daylight. It's the direction that answers the brief most directly: earn trust before asking a first-time ₹10 investor to buy anything, not after.

Visual distinctiveness
distinctive in context, familiar in color.
Conversion speed
single CTA, single decision, no SIP/One-time choice at entry.
Education
two quick benefit stats (returns, liquidity) replace any real explainer;
Business positioning
gold lives as a Home-tab habit alongside Bills/Rewards/News, not a separate acquisition funnel.
Trust & credibility
"RBI approved" is a sharper, more specific claim
